Well 30 years ago when I first bought my house we would see rattle snakes and garter snakes all of the time, but now with all of the houses around us I have not seen a snake in a few years now. They don't like all of our noise and cars and have moved farther out in the desert. Even walking around way out in the middle of nowhere I still have not seen a snake. Maybe this year I will get a chance to get a photo of a Mojave Green or regular rattler.
