About This Image

While out checking up on the Dove, I spotted this young chipmunk playing in the cactus. I can't believe how fast they can climb around in it. This one would climb up in the cactus look at me for a while then zip over to a old catclaw bush, then back to the cactus. She let me take a bunch of photos and was still checking me out when I decided to leave.

Hi Alex, Thanks very much for your nice comment.. For focusing I set my camera to only focus on dead center in the viewfinder. So when it focuses on the chipmunk I quickly compose and shoot.

You caught a great shot of this little critter Alan,it looks like a tough spot to get a good focus there with all the needles and branches.

Hi Ann, Thanks again for your very nice comments. I'm glad you liked the sharpness and colors. It is a little tough to get nice colors with everything in the desert mostly brown.
