thanks Ikka, for the nice compliments. glad you like it. we've really enjoyed these flowers this year, - but for some reason the hummingbirds haven't been sipping from them as much as they did last summer. Too many bees around the foxgloves perhaps.

About the macro lens. No, I ret'd it and got an extra wide angle lens, 16-35L version2. Haven't used it much yet, but do like it very much. The lens I used to capture this foxglove image is my 24-105L lens. Just noticed that I put the incorrect lens in "tools" above, so will alter that now.
