Wonderful capture. I love these too, We have a freind mad on them. He goes all around the place with these scale boats, and trains all steam powered. Smells of the fair always make you smile!!! Every second year there is a weekend where all things done on the farm are the old way with no modern machines. there were steam engins of all sizes including one simular to this. Unfortunately I can not add the photos to TLF as my daughers wanted to take the photos.

Clever steam engine, Mike. We have some great steam engine shows in Michigan and Indiana - but this is about the tiniest rider I've seen! Talking steam - before leaving England in '64 our trains from Waterloo Station to Lydford, Devon were still pulled by those beautiful engines.

Great shot of the little steam engine Mike! I'm fascinated by the 13-14 stones description, how much does a stone weigh? I'm guessing he'd be 180 to 200 lbs maybe? And candy floss is probably cotton candy as we call it? Neat shot is the bottom line, very nice. Don

Hi Mike! Lovely shot of an eccentric subject. I know exactly what you mean about the association of smells! And two contributors from the Boro? Wow!

very interesting Mike, and a great capture too, very clear. This reminds me of a museum we went to in London, with the school, years ago. Lots of steam engines there, - at that time it was more interesting to the boys in the group, and I'd rather have gone to the other museum where the animals are shown :)

What a fun view.. I have never seen anything like that. How that little engine can pull that heavy man in amazing.
