Delaware Water Gap

Delaware Water GapThis stretch of the Delaware River shows the Gap itself where two mountain ranges come together. This waterway was the primary means of transportation for New Yorkers to reach the Pocanos in the 1800s, before trains and automobiles made their mark. The handsome railroad bridge has stood there for many years.
Kayakers and canoeists frequent the area.
