Here's the profile of a young bull moose drinking from Silver Lake near Brighton Ski Resort up Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah.

We stayed behind many trees to remain safe. Moose can run for short distances at over 40 miles per hour and can weight as much as a Volkswagon.

This moose is fairly young, and therefore excitable, so while we wanted to be fairly close to get a good picture, we made sure to keep some obstacles in the way.
