Mary and Alandra - you have no idea of how bright this mandala is. It should be completed Friday at noon. The monks work 10-6. I took a lot of photos, and used a bounce flash since I'm doing an article for a local magazine. I was fascinated. Friday is the ceremony, and it is free. We follow them about 1/4 mile to the bay and the sands will be poured into it. Supposedly there is a wonderful, colorful ceremony with incense and chanting. Can't wait. And yes, Alandra, the camera is good, but the 828 I lust for!
