Thankyou A.Lovely, this is the view from my front gate, Where ever we have being this is a welcome home sight. I have often heard people say they were born under this mountain and they will die under this mountain no matter where they travel the world in between.

Thankyou May for looking in and the interesting info, The mountain is so much part of our life, I think we judge what the days weather will be on how the mountain apears in the mornings, this morning it cant be seen, so it going to turn wet today.

How beautiful to walk out the door and see that.

It's hard contacting other members - I'll do it here.

You asked about the making of the pine needle basket and also the beads. The beads are glass. The Native Americans often traded glass beads originally from Venice, Italy. If you would like to contact me off list, I can tell you how these baskets are made.

My dream is New Zealand. Maybe someday.

Thankyou Vicki, it's a view that we never get tired of, and it changes from day to day.

Amazing sight. Reminds me of Mt. Fuji in Japan. Of course, it is also a volcano.

it's quite a sight alright, on a nice day it looks fantastic, but in rough weather not a good place to be, both my sons have being to the top 1 each and my daughter about 5 time's, always with a group she's SAR, on one climb with mist in areas the quy following her went over a cliff, it's taken quite a few lives including his,

I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to walk out of your house and see that! Jealousy doesn't even get near my feelings!

A marvellous shot of a stunning view.
