Thanks for all your comments and suggestions. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. I usually resize the photo before I upload. I can try using the unsharp mask too.

I found with my own shots, the ones taken in higher resolution and then resized smaller come out much clearer than those taken in lower resolution.

Nice composition with the leaves etc. and the bright coloured Koi. which photo editing software are you using? Maybe you can sharpen the images with that, before posting, and see if that helps at all. just a thought.
