I'm usually immune to the charms of the cute kitten or puppy photo, but this is different enough to be witty rather than merely sentimental. I think it's a really great image and from a technical point of view it's a perfect example of a shot with virtually no dark tones, and you've handled the subtle variations in the light tones with great skill.
