hummingbird on fountain

this hummingbird flew in to drink at the fountain on our front patio. Got several shots of it while it sat there. This one shows the spots on its feathers. Believe it's the tail feathers spread out.

thanks, Fiona. Yep, that's true, about the wings. Hadn't thought of that. I should try cropping the hummer out and see what it turns out like.

THIS IS A SPECIAL PICTURE- PROBABLY NOT TOO MANY PICTURES WHERE THE HUMMING BIRDS WINGS ARE STILL LIKE THIS- USUALLY THEY ARE IN FLIGHT DRINKING AND THE WINGS ARE JUST A BLUR.
