Thank you, Gary. We have a couple of these birds that hang around all summer. They are attracted to the "butterfly garden" plants.

Thank you for the nice comments. The hummingbirds go south from here to,but they'll be back in the spring. This one seems to be unafraid and will actually hover about 3 feet away. I've even heard the cheeping sound that it makes.

great shot, can almost hear the "humming" : ) I miss the hummingbirds, as they've all left now, til next summer, altho there might be some Anna's around, as those do overwinter here some years.
