It was a dark and dreary day today. But I still had the urge to get out and snap a few. I'm glad I did. I went to a spot where eagles have been spotted recently which is only about 20 minutes from the house. No eagles, but these gulls entertained me for several hours and I got some cool shots. It is a backwater of the Ohio River. There were open spots, but the majority of the water had a thin coating of clear ice with about 1/4 inch of water on top of it. It made for some nice reflections and looked like the gulls could walk on water. Thanks for looking. Don
