Grandpa after

Here is the restored photo of my grandfather, Jaduthan Minniss. The restoration was all done by hand. No digital manipulation at the time Marsha did this.

Thanks, Jim and Vicki. "Mesh with each other" is well put. We do that very well.

What a great couple you two are, Gary. It's wonderful to hear of two people who can mesh with each other and appreciate each other talents. This is a wonderful restoration. Kudos to Marsha's diligence and love of fine detail.

A truly remarkable recovery job Gary. Marsha is to be congratulated for recovering such a valuable piece of your family history.

I used to wear a mustache and no beard. A couple of my aunts said that I reminded them of "papa", meaning my grandfather. I felt greatly honored.

The competition between myself and Marsha is for the better camera. We often go out together to take photos on the desert or in the mountains. We have an ancient 1.0 mpx digital and a 3.3 Sony. Of course, we both want the Sony. We have to take turns. Fifteen minutes each. I keep very good track of the time when she has the good one.

Other than that, not much competition. She is a graphic artist and an excellent writer, as well as photographer. I'm a technical writer, photographer and musician. I have my piano keyboard right by my computer so I can just swing around and improvise a song or two. Marsha's work station is about 3 feet away and she loves it when I play.

I especially enjoyed the changes in your grandfather from boy to mature gentleman. How wonderful to have a photo history of your ancestors. It's fun to look for traits that are present in you, I'm sure!

Your wife Marsha has quite a talent! As well as yourself! Any extreme competition going on between the two of you or do you work together in harmony?

Thanks. Yes it has been in our family a long time. Marsha is also an excellent photographer.
