Frogmouth owls trying to blend in. These birds are one of the most unusual birds to be found. The bird on your right is actually leaning into the shape of the tree limbs around him as part of his camoflage technique. Their colouring makes them very difficult to find but, when found, they will usually sit and wait for you to leave. And stare you down...
