Broken Dream

Broken Dream

Here is my staged flower entry. I used a 1200 year old Native American pot and wild flowers from the field by my house. The pot is on a beaver pelt. I used a combination of candle light and I LED flash light painted during the expousure. I used a black backdrop in a dark room. Thanks for looking. Don

Thanks Alan, Ikka, sandrak, and Brian. I had fun doing this one. I'm going to have to experiment more with staged shots this winter when the weather turns sour. There is always something to take a photo of, that is the great thing about this hobby. Don

Don, I like this composition and thank you for the description. With title it works well, that the flowers are not perfect arranged. I think it is a great work.

Beautiful photo Don!! All I can say is you sure have raised the bar way up there in the staged flower contest. LOL.... Great Job!!

Thanks Lorraine, Tania, Alandra, Carol, Karen and Alex! I really appreciate the kind words.

Lorraine :-). I know flower arranging isn't my best skill. I kind of just jammed them in the pot. LOL

Alandra. I have a small artifact collection with several of these Native American pots. I bought them as a bag of pieces and put them together, none of them are whole but I still like them for the history that is behind them.

Thanks again everyone. Don
