Turning Over a New Leaf

This upward-view photo was taken in my front yard. I stood staring at the leaves from a bush hanging down, barely alive, as the cold of winter began to set in. I decided the best view would be from the ground, which is where I laid to achieve this shot.

With the focus on one lone leaf surviving the end of fall, and a completely barren winter tree blurred in the background, the transition between seasons is shown beautifully.
