Thanks Alandra, It wasn't a posed arrangement at all. We were sitting in the car and I decided to take his picture. I didn't even notice the shadow at the time, but when I viewed it, was pleasantly suprised....

very good idea for portrait! and nice presentation, and fitting title. knowing very little about this sort of thing, - am curious as to how the shadow framing the face was achieved.- in other words, did you add this effect afterwards, or did you take the photo using something to cast the shadow?
