Cockle Bay with it's cockle beds,

alone in winter busy in summer,

the tide wanes exposing foreshores,

wading with sacks eating shell food snacks.

Moving around with barefeet feeling for cockles(Bi-Valve)ankle deep in sea water,sun on your back,arms covered in the ocean's fluid,the smell of sea air,the thought of fritters with Pippies and Cockles freshly picked from the foreshores frying at home or on a Bar-b-que at the sea side.
