A shot looking out from the walled citadel in the centre of Boulogne. The port of Boulogne is between here and the distant hilltop. In the shadows of the middle ground you can see a wooden replica boat and at the extreme right of the frame part of a pyramid. These form part of some gardens which celebrate a famous French egyptologist (don't know their name, but I await one of Mike's contributions which will no doubt enlighten us!). The boat is supposed to be the royal barge of a Pharaoh.
