: Christmas at Royal Palms; My family and I often have Christmas dinner at the restaurant at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. The flowers are those of a bouganvilla plant. Our neighbor in back has several of these plants and they hang over our wall all winter. A lovely sight.

Thanks! As for the dinner, it is always the fanciest dinner imaginable. The Royal Palms is a small resort which has been there for many years. I always eat too much and suffer greatly afterwards.

(any dinner there for that matter : ) We do see these lovely plants here in the summer, people have them in big pots for their patios, but they have to be brought in for the winter. We've never had one tho'. I saw lots of them when on vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico years ago, growing all over the place, different colours, beautiful.
