About This Image

I love the lines in this photo. The islands in the horizon seems to point to the sailboat as well as the sunbeams both above the boat and in the reflection. The lines of the mast, sail, ropes, and the boat itself both focuses and directs the eye. The silhouette of the people keep it real, but don't distract from the overall beauty of the scene. This picture was taken at the Great Salt Lake about an hour before sunset.

What a wonderful capture, Azkul. Yes, I see what you mean about the lines of the sail, mask and boat leading the eye. I also like the texture of the water that you have captured so nicely, too.

I agree with what you said about the lines directing the eye to the main subject. I also like that the sailboat is a little off-center - makes the picture more interesting.
