Birds of a Feather

Another view of many birds having a snack on some apples that were still hanging onto the tree. They

weathered the winter. They seem to have relishing the

the apples.

Beautiful picture, Alovely. I'm going to see if I can find out what kind of birds those are.

Hi there Brian, Yes, I know what you mean about mess. This past

fall the grounds people took all old apples off the tree, so I didn't

get a capture of the birds this year. I now am making a more bird

friendly backyard. Thank you for your comments on this photograph.

We used to have a plum tree in our backyard that the birds would flock to. We'd have to be on top of picking the ripe ones otherwise the birds would eat a chunk out of it and leave the rest or they'd make the plum drop to the ground wasting it. It was a slippery mess at that bottom of that tree!

Hi Anne, Thank you for viewing this photograph and making such a nice

comment. I understand how you must feel unable to get out. Take care

and relax and you will be outside in the near future. I wish you all the best.

Anne - what an extremely graceful and beautiful picture you captured of the birds. Outstanding!! I loved it and just gazed at them. I hope you don't mind if I come back to look at them again soon!!! I can't get out to walk and see my birds now because my leg is still not very steady. But getting better!!! Wonderful picture

Hi there Sparkle and Talsi thanks for commenting. I really didn't know

this bird and so left it out of the discription. Glad you stopped

by and viewed. I appreciate your input.

Nice shot of the birds. The one up top looks like a Tufded Titmouse.
