that's a good way to capture the shots, Fella, - our front feeder is too high up, (under eaves) and if I turn while at the open window, towards the feeder as he flies up - "that's it", he's gone. The female isn't as timid, so have captured a few shots of her earlier. Now that I've found the burst mode, am looking forward to devising a way to capture some shots of the wily male rufous hummer : )

hi sparkle thanks for the comment ..hi alandra ..no he didnt stay long ..i put out some fresh nectar and watch him so i set up the tripod hooked up the remote and a chair and waited and waited than he showed up and just held down on the trigger snap as many as i could in burst mode ..and got a few good ones ..fella
