Beautiful. They must love to perch above the water and watch for the fish. My cousin and I saw one that could be this exact one when I was visiting her in Virginia. A beatiful bird and pose, you captured that little superior look of the pelican, exactly.

Pelicans are quite common on the gulf coast of the US. There are brown ones and white ones. Thanks for the comment.

very nice, I love pelicans altho think I've never seen one in the wild.
