I messed up, May, the common name isn't swamp azalea(which is R. viscosum),its Pinxter or Piedmont azalea.

Too bad you can't include the fragrance of these blossoms on this site. I have one of these in my front yard - started it as a foot long cutting after bulldozers cut a half dozen along the roadside. My neighbor's cutting didn't make it.

It's about 8 ft. tall now. Loves where it is.
