This turtle was huge, there were about 20 people standing around a good distance from the turtle[no one would get close to him]the turtle was in the center of the road. The photo was taken as my daughter drove by him and she had to drive very close to the sholder of the road. Lucky turtles move very slow.Im sure he survived,everyone would surely give him space.
