Anant in the Hindu religion means the Universal God.In today's world, this may be interpreted as Universal cosmic energy.

Actually, when I started doing this, I wanted to make a painting of Vishnu who is the Universal God. To do this I referred The Cambridge Astronomy book for the shapes of Galaxies which could take facial shapes.

For example,the outline of the head is the Veil Nebula, in Cygnus, the peacock feather is the Andromeda Galaxy, our nearest Galactic neighbor!

The end result surprisingly resembled Balkrishna, or infant Krishna, rather than Vishnu. I am posting this because it is one abstract painting I like!
