Dredging

The pond in North Park, at the Latadomi nature center is being dredged. It took 12 years of planning and

the county just awarded the contract to a local company. They started just before Christmas and have been working at every week day. They expect to be completed by March.

We are all looking forward to seeing the water birds and frogs and toads that used to breed in and around the pond that have slowly disappeared over the years because of the silting problem.
