About This Image

It's great to capture pets' expressions! I set the camera to black and white. Used a bounce flash off the ceiling to avoid "washing out" the white sections. By using black and white, I avoided the green eye effect (this dog does not have red eye). Normal red eye reduction did not work with her as a subject in color photos. Original is in .tif format.

Hi there Rclock, I see you have a Zoe, too. This is a wonderfully captured portrait of this sweet dog. The expression is a "heart warmer" for sure.

She is 3 and although a mutt/Beagle mix, she is a very smart dog. (Also she is much more patient at posing for portraits than my teenagers.)
