can't believe I missed this one til now, Karen! It's wonderful, the butterfly is gorgeous, and its colours seem to blend in so well with the flowers. the past few summers, we've had very few butterflies here, unfortunately.

Thank you, Azkul and Alovely, for your kind words. Overcast skies allowed better color saturation. This was in an overgrown lot behind a restaurant. I wonder how long it will be before it gets covered with concrete.
