About This Image

This was taken at Old Fashioned Day, an annual fundraiser for a horse club at a farm near Caledonia, NY. It features draft horse plowing with dozens of teams, sheep shearing, the usual artsy stuff, food, and always some of the new crop of young 'uns. This Belgian mom and her foal seemed to be showing off a bit. It was pure luck to get the shot without any of the crowd in the background.

it is a beautiful image, the horses do look as if they are showing off, as they seem to be looking right at you. wonderful.

Great job composing the photo and getting it without people in it. I do a lot of car photos and people can be a major problem. Wonderful colors and a really fun photo to view...
