Mt Egmont, Mt taranaki, on a very cold and frosty morning, with a few more snow falls we might be lucky and manage to get the snow down a litle lower this year. Located on the west coast of the North Island, New Zealand.

Hi happy Snapper, thanks for looking in, I'm glad you like the mountain shot, there is very little snow on the mountain at the moment, just a bit at the very top.

Superb shot the layers of colour are amazing, it could almost be a colour chart for a diy store, if you know what i mean. They blend lovely.

Lorraine this is a great shot It is nice to see the snow down so low. Did you see the mountain on Wednesday late afternoon the Easten side looked like glass with the sun on it. I took some photos but I dont think they came out.

beautiful mountain. reminds me of Mt Baker in our area, altho it's actually in Washington State, USA, but we see it from here.

A wonderful shot Lorraine. I haven't been this way for just over 4 years, so really great to see a recent winter shot. Very impressive.
