About This Image

This is the northern part of the windfarm. There are many more behind where I am standing. there is a viewing station so you can touch one of these big beasts. They are very comanding with their size and the wooshing of the blades.

Lorraine I realy love these windmills. unfortunatley they are making some people have to sell their properties as they are so loud and overpowering. They produce Power that is good but the are reported to make a terrible noise making where they are close to settlements very intrusive.

Brilliant, brilliant picture! The sky; the almost pitch black foreground; the sunlight in the middle distance; and the way the big turbines act as bridges between the sky and the ground - all these elements work together to give the composition strength and formal structure. I love this image to bits!
