About This Image

Two,windblown, burnt orange tulips with yellow and black centres.
The tulips bloomed really early for our part of the world.

Thanks for looking :)

Amy and Gunnar, thank you for viewing my gallery and these tulips and for leaving welcome comments. Usually, tulips don't bloom here until April-May; these were exceptionally early and therefore were beginning to be spoiled by the strong winds and rain. I think I caught them just in time. :)

You give a different impression of tulips with this photo. Beautiful picture and a very suitable background.

Strong colors before a smooth background. Spring is beginning in your country. Here, in Canada, it's yet covered with snow. Tulips come around late May.

Thanks Carol and yes, you're right, it does make you think of spring. I just hope it will be here soon, although, our weather's not quite as bad as yours. :)
