About This Image

This is one of the tanks by the Fort Irwin Welcome Sign. Fort Irwin in 35 miles from Barstow, California. They need to be out in the middle of nowhere to play with there tanks and live rounds. The name on the tank was Wild One 4 painted on the barrel.

Tanks are pretty cool, in my opinion. The name on this one struck me funny because it's claiming to be the Wild "One", but it's the forth Wild One. Perhaps it's the Wild 14, but then who wants to be 14th? Maybe there are 13 others and they ride together like bikers through the desert doing wild things. Beware Cacti for the Wild Ones are coming!

Hi Alex, and Beverly.. Thanks for your thoughts about my photo. Yea Alex it would be a blast playing with that in your yard, you might not have any trees left though lol.. It does look like a Iraq shot Beverly now that you mention it. The nothingness for a background makes it seem that way.
