Sparrow in our yard this morning.
White-throats have rust-brown upperparts and grayish underparts.The white throat is conspicuous.There are broad black and white stripes through the eye and over the crown,and a small patch of yellow in front of the eye.

Just seen my first ones this year today. I used to call those the jailbird sparrows. Get it black and white stripes. Great shot.

A very pretty Sparrow; his head reminds me of a 'jailbird'. He certainly is an interesting bird to view. :)

I love the yellow above its eyes. I don't get many sparrows here in my yard, but in parking lots, and Home Depot or Lowes garden sections, it seems, they seem to be everywhere.
