About This Image

This might be a Ross's Goose, -- white goose feeding near the swans, - am not sure which type of goose this is, but it's not a Snow Goose. Like the red/orange beak and red legs. It dredged up a beakful of grassy stuff from the bottom of the river here, which it seemed to be eating :) Think I got a couple of images with the goose with it's beak full.

Hi Vicki, good to see you here and thanks for trying to help. Had just been thinking about you. Hope all's well with you and yours. Believe it might be a Ross's Goose, but must double check.

Great shot, Alandra. I only have east coast bird books, so can't help you here. It has my curiosity as white ducks and turkeys over this way are all domestic - not wild. Vicki
