About This Image

My husband just seems to collect junk and this photo is a classic example. This is where all the wheelbarrows come to die.

know what you mean, Lulu, we have a corner just like that, but it's full of bits of lumber : ) -outback, far from any views from the house, hidden by trees and shrubs. to be honest, did think those coloured wheelbarrows looked in pretty good shape, compared to the old rustbucket out the back here. DH still uses it tho', to mix cement in, and so forth.

Very colorful and unique collection of wheelbarrows. You could always use them as "planters" around the property. :)

I just wanted to clear up that our property is not a junk yard as it looks in this photo. We have our own "forest" of blue gum trees and these are what you see in behind the wheelbarrows. These, and the rest of the "junk" behind them, are just the little corner that I let him keep all his bits and pieces without them looking messy from the house and the rest of the yard. Our friends Tania (comment above) and Dean, call our place Magpie Manor as my husband Michael is a real collector of bits he can use as an automotive engineer, or simply things he can modify to use around our property (a magpie is a bird that likes to collect shiny things). I have been informed by him that he uses every single one of these wheelbarrows and they are not junk :-) Just as long as his junk stays in his designated area, I'm happy.
