About This Image

Cedar Waxwings hiding behind the water plant, bathing in privacy :) Sure wish the plant hadn't been there, -- but then, perhaps they might not have chosen to bathe there had the plant not been there to hide behind. This was the first time I'd actually seen the waxwings this summer, but thought I'd heard their strange calls the previous day, but thought it was too early for them to be here.

thanks Carol, - it's the first time I've ever seen them bathe, and am not sure we've ever seen them actually drinking here before either. Sure hope they'll return.
