Hi Alandra, I'm glad you found my photo and enjoyed looking through it. I'm use to the California coast, the huge rocks there in Oregon sure were different.

great scenic shot, Alan. missed it before, so am glad I found it now. This reminds me a bit of the Long Beach area in British Columbia, Canada.

Hey Hi Shankar, It's been a long time since we jabbered.. I thought you hit the lottery and bought your own personal island somewhere.. Thanks for your thoughts on my photo. Your right that grass part is ugly and taking away the view of the big rock. If I remember right I was stuck with that view, the cliffs were all along that area. I need to add a ladder or stilts to my camera stuff LOL.. With having some free time today here in Barstow, I'm going to see if I can do some magic tricks to it and get rid of some of the foreground.

Lovely shot, Alan. The tiny people give an idea of scale, and sort of make the shot. However, I WOULD zoom in a little more and cut out the distracting foreground, which also obscures the isolated rock behind it. Was it at all possible to move a little to the right? Looks like a solid drop there, so probably not! A very atmospheric shot, I can almost imagine a grizzly bear prowling for food in the clump of trees in the background. Reminds me vaguely of the 12 Apostles in Australia.

WOW.. Thanks everyone for all your wonderful comments. I did like this shot out of all my vacation photos. Were ready for another trip up the coast. It's so beautiful up there that taking photos is easy. Just stop anywhere walk to the edge and take a shot..

I've always imagined the Oregon coast to be one of the most beautiful. Thanks for sharing because it will probably be the only way I'll ever see it...or the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful shot.
