About This Image

View from the top of the lookout on Big Hill. This one picture comes nowhere near doing this breathtaking scene justice...Its like flying a plane over the top of a mountian and seeing the land spread out before you for miles all around. We were able to see two tall buildings in the distance at the edge of the horizon in the city of Lexington, KY, which was about 40-50 miles away from where we were. We didnt want to leave!

There are two other pinnacles also there at Big Hill, an eastern one and a western one. I wanna go there again SOON! Its probably one of the few places in KY with that kind of view, which is saying something because KY is hilly anyway.

Beautiful view of the valley below, this is a fun photo to travel through looking at all the buildings, roads, to the trees.

Thanks for the comment Steve. If I knew how to take and stitch panoramic pics together, I would have done that with the view I had there. Guess I'll have to check that out and work on that.

If this photo doesn't do the scene justice, then it must be truly impressive. I think this picture conveys the grandeur of the view, and I love the way the image gets bluer with the distance.
