hi jas i guess it would be electric rome was 1 of 8 places we visited in 7 days we started here then did sienna flornce verona vience veareggio some port i did not like we finished then went to insbrook then our fnal resting place in austria before berlin airport then home to newcastle then drive to darlington ( needed a week of to recover ) i saw sights i would never see again and some sights i wished not to see!

Thanks for viewing Mike. Unfortunately, His Holiness wasn't 'in' when we were there but the square was being prepared for Him to Canonise some Spanish Cardinals the following day. An amazing place to visit though and I would imagine the atmosphere is 'electric' when the Pope is present? :)

hi jas lovely picture the building to the right is were his holliness pops out to do his serman i have only seen him once and could not believe the vast amounts of people turned out .
