We too seldom get more than flurries here ,but I cant remember wonderful light like that here, especially in winter.I'm coming to stay too!!

thanks Susan, I believe it's very much like NZ here, scenery and climate wise, in our area at least. Saw some travel "ads" on TV recently for NZ, it looked gorgeous

yeah, we are pretty happy about this mild spell. I was stuck indoors not feeling good, but DH was walking down the crescent with our labs, so I looked out to watch them head off, and decided to go get the camera as it was such a pretty day.
