About This Image

This plant was growing by the pond. It had huge leave reaching for the sky and this beautiful flower was about to make its appearance. I thought it was beautiful

Thank you for that. It is an amaising plant. It is another plant I would love in my Garden when we settle in our new home.

Very nice image and unusual, the plant is called a Gunnera manicata. Leaves are 1.5m (5ft) across, has conical, light green flower spikes in early summer, followed by orange-brown seed pods.
