that was supposed to be "pillars" : ) on the Burrard Bridge. Know what you mean re the bridges in the event of evacuation. And there are so many bridges leading in and out of Vancouver, not just here in the West End of Vancouver, where you were. It is often a topic of discussion and concern.

Thanks for ID-ing these for me, Alandra. My brother and I were discussing how inadequate these bridges were in the event of an emergency evacuation of such a high density area.

great shot, Karen. The one with the framework & pilars is the Burrard Bridge, and the other is the Granville Bridge. Used to work in that area : ) and travelled those bridges every day.
