About This Image

Webster Street Tube between Oakland and Alameda, California. If you are curious how this type of photo is shot, here's how:

Location is a tunnel at night. Camera with wide angle lens set on a tripod in the back seat. External flash is mounted on camera. Camera is triggered with a remote switch with a delay of a few seconds. The shutter is set for an opening of about six to eight seconds. At the end of the delay shot, the second curtain flash is triggered to capture the interior of the car. Minimal post processing done.
