I think it will be a wall hanging in the end. The light wouldn't be able to shine through on these particular ones as they are done with stained glass on ceramic tile...it would have to be glass on glass for a light effect.

Oh definitely tooooo pretty to go in the ground!! How about a lovely table top? Or better still, some type of screen where the light can shine thru the back of the tiles. Let us know what you decide : )

I was going to pave an outdoor patio with them, but I don't think I'm going to....too pretty to go in the ground

I agree. This is lovely. It must be painstaking work. Do you incorporate all the mosaics into one item, or use them individually?
