This is a portion of a painting I did from a photo my friend sent me. She made the cape she is wearing & the direction sign on the back is small beads. She went to a pow wow as a butterfly dancer. She's in her late 50's & it was kind of funny because she didn't realize that most butterfly dancers are in their late teens & early 20's since the butterfly dance is a mating dance.
