Nothing more than a small tribute to the events that evolved from 9/11. Though years later, this United Airlines flight soars over the US flag..... This time victorious and proud. May those who became a part of history, be it in the North or South Towers of the WTC, the halls of the Pentagon or the wooded field in Pennsylvania, never be forgotten.

Shutterbug and Jeanne, Thank you for the comments. The words from the tribute come to mind as I looked at it a little later. It's so fitting and honestly the two photos together carry the impact that can't really be explained. Simply awesome as I sit here and think about it (again).
